Clinical Team

Dr. Tasha Morris is a board-certified Psychiatrist with over 20 years of clinical practice. She earned her MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with a fellowship at NYU School of Medicine. She served as an Instructor in Psychiatry at Dartmouth Medical School and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at UW-Harborview Medical Center.

Dr. Jonathan Downar is a renowned neuroscientist and Co-Director of the TMS Clinic at University Health Network, one of North America’s leading TMS clinics. Dr. Downar has directed dozens of TMS clinical studies, and his work has been published in numerous high-impact international research journals. He is often a keynote speaker at international TMS and other brain stimulation conferences and is highly regarded as a world-leading expert on TMS.

Dr. Nick Weiss is a board-certified Psychiatrist with over 20 years of clinical practice. He earned his undergrad degree at Yale and his MD from Harvard Medical School. He completed his residency and fellowship at UC San Francisco, where he also served as Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinics. Other positions include UW-Harborview, Seattle Children’s, and Acting Assistant Professor at the University of Washington.

Tracie Ross is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her BSN from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, followed by her Master in Public Health from Washington University in St. Louis. She attended Vanderbilt University for her Master of Science in Nursing (PMHNP). She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric hospitals and clinics, working with both military and civilian patient populations.

Amy Zachara is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Washington in Seattle, followed by her Master’s of Science in Nursing and PMHNP from Seattle University. She has 12 years of psych experience in both outpatient and inpatient clinical settings, including 10 years at Fairfax Behavioral Hospital in Kirkland, WA just prior to joining NeuroStim.

Courtney Yant is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her BSN from WSU and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP-PMHNP) from Pacific Lutheran University. Prior to joining NeuroStim, she was a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Northwest Integrated Health and Restore Mental Health. Courtney is a clinical preceptor for PMHNP students from Pacific Northwest University and Pacific Lutheran University.

Matt Kilgore is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). His prior work history includes work in cardiac care, acute care, and acute inpatient detoxification units with a sub-specialty in mental healthcare. Matt earned his Bachelor’s in Biology, his Master of Science (MSN), and his Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) all from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA.

Power Capote is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He has 17 years of extensive healthcare experience, including ten years as an RN and seven years as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Power’s experience includes medication management, IOP/PHP programs, substance abuse programs and TMS Therapy. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN-PMHNP) from Florida International University and is fluent in Spanish.

Alex is a certified TMS Technician, Lead TMS Trainer and Lead Researcher. He graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, where he worked in a cognitive science lab and helped publish experiments on mind behaviors. Alex has delivered over 7,000 TMS treatments and his research work has been featured in Brain Stimulation. Alex was a guest panelist at the 2021 CTMSS Annual Meeting.

Muriel joined NeuroStim in early 2020 and has held multiple positions, including Clinic Coordinator, TMS Technician, and TMS Specialist. She has spent many years working in healthcare administration and direct patient care with a passion to serve the most vulnerable in her community. Before joining NeuroStim, she was a CNA working exclusively with those struggling with anxiety and depression.

Hannah is a certified TMS Technician and Clinic Coordinator for our Bellingham clinic. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Western Washington University, where she was also a four-year collegiate softball player. Hannah joined NeuroStim with 4 years of medical field experience, working as a doctor’s assistant and as a clinical administrator for PPMA (Private Physician’s Medical Association).

Adam is a certified TMS Technician, and has performed over 5,000 TMS treatments. He brings a wealth of experience and specialized medical training to NeuroStim as a certified EMT. Prior to joining NeuroStim, he spent four years as a behavioral health professional in psych hospitals and DSHS in the South Sound area. Adam holds a Bachelor’s from the University of Washington and a Master’s from Pacific Lutheran University.

Titiana is a certified TMS Technician and Certified Medical Assistant. She joined NeuroStim in the spring of 2022 after relocating from Texas. She has 10+ years of experience in the medical field, primarily working in urgent care clinics as Office Manager, Clinical Manager, and Provider Relations Manager. She previously handled 80 providers’ schedules, led staff training, and oversaw 22 FastMed Urgent Care clinics in the state of Texas.

Jess is a certified TMS Technician. Prior to joining NeuroStim she spent 10 years working in various industries including patient care, medical billing, education and hospitality. A former lifeguard and pre-school teacher, Jess is passionate about serving others, especially those in the mental health field. She obtained her CNA in 2012 and is currently enrolled in a nursing program through South-Sound College.

Nate is a certified TMS Technician. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Washington State University. Prior to joining NeuroStim, he worked in the Physical Therapy field as a PT technician and rehabilitation
specialist. Nate was a standout multi-sport varsity athlete in high school and is still active in the community as a personal trainer and youth football coach in Pierce County.

Marissa is a certified TMS Technician. She joined NeuroStim in the summer of 2022 as a transplant from sunny California. Marissa brings 7 years of medical field experience with her, including both clinical and medical administration. Her prior positions include phlebotomist, blood donor coordinator, office management, and staff trainer. She studied Cognitive Psychology at Sierra College in Rocklin, CA.

Sammie is a certified TMS Technician. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Physiology from the University of Washington. She is a registered Medical Assistant and holds clinical work experience in Sports Medicine prior to joining Neurosis. She is passionate about mental health and has worked as a classroom facilitator piloting the program ‘Mental Health for Every Adolescent’ (MHEA).

Paige is a certified TMS Technician. She has over 25 years of experience working in the field of psychology as a social worker, educator, and patient advocate for those with mental health issues. She comes from a military family, making her an excellent fit for our busy Kitsap clinic. Paige earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Montana State University and also holds a Master’s in Forensic Psychology.

Sarah is a certified TMS Technician. She joined NeuroStim in late 2022 to pursue her passion of working in patient care after being referred by a family member. Prior to NeuroStim, she spent 9 years working in various industries including retail, customer service, logistics and product distribution with companies including Funko and Amazon.

Sarah joined NeuroStim in winter of 2022 to assume the role of Clinic Coordinator for NeuroStim’s Everett clinic. Prior to joining NeuroStim, she spent over 15 years in finance and banking, including roles as finance manager, assistant branch manager and client relationship manager. Serving people – clients or patients – is her passion.

Ben is a certified TMS Technician. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Western Washington University. Prior to NeuroStim, Ben was an EMT and also worked as a Medical Assistant for an outpatient neurology clinic where he ran nerve conduction studies, EEGs, and administered direct patient care.

Ashleigh joined NeuroStim in the spring of 2023 and holds the position of Spokane’s Clinic Coordinator. Her experience, leadership, and adaptability were key elements in helping successfully launch NeuroStim in Spokane. Her prior experience includes nearly 5 years working in the industry as a TMS Technician and Clinical Administrator.

McKenzie is a certified TMS Technician. She joined NeuroStim in the spring of 2023 with two years of prior work experience in behavioral healthcare and neurology. A dedicated leader in NeuroStim’s Spokane clinic, McKenzie has delivered over 2,000 TMS treatments. She leads with expertise, compassion, and clinical excellence every day.

Laura is a certified TMS Technician who serves as our Lead Technician in our Seattle clinic. She brings six years of clinical experience, including a wealth of volunteer experience working with Women’s Sexual Health with Rush and Loyola Medical Schools. She holds a BS degree in Biology and a BA in Law, Societies and Justice from the University of Washington.

Jasmine is a certified TMS Technician and TMS Specialist. She holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Medicine, a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, and also holds a LEAN SIX SIGMA certification. She is also a military veteran, serving as a medical corpsman and has prior experience working in OBGYN, Family Medicine, and Pediatrics.

Tiana is a certified TMS Technician. She graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Her prior medical experience included administrative and clinical experience as a Clinic Manager and Medical Assistant in Neurology and as a Living Skills Specialist working with the geriatric population.

Souren is a certified TMS Tech. He is currently a pre-med student at the University of Washington and will graduate in 2024 with BS degrees in Neuroscience, Biology and Physiology. His prior experience includes being an MRI Technologist, EMT, and Direct Support Professional documenting patient plans of care.

Katelyn is a certified TMS Technician who joined NeuroStim in the summer of 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from George Mason University and an AAS in Science from Germanna Community College. A military spouse and mother of two, Katelyn is one of our most driven team members.

Kajsa is a certified TMS Technician who joined NeuroStim in the summer of 2023. She is an Eastern Washington University Health Psychology graduate. Prior to NeuroStim, she held prior positions within the hospital, rehabilitation, and lab environments as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and as as a Physiology Lab Assistant.

Sawyer is a certified TMS Tech. He majored in Neuroscience and minored in Chemistry and Biology at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Prior to NeuroStim, he worked for Macalester College First Aid and Seattle Children’s Institute. He also volunteers at Big Brothers and Sisters and the Seattle Youth Education.

Reyan is a certified TMS Technician who joined NeuroStim in the fall of 2023 after being referred by a long-time employee. She previously held multiple positions in the insurance industry, including CSR, recruiter, trainer, and other supervisory roles. Her inclusive and friendly demeanor provides a positive experience for everyone she encounters.

Mandy is a certified TMS Tech. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois. She has over 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant and Patient Care Technician working in hospital and outpatient settings, including Physical Therapy, Cardiac, and Surgery environments. She is a military spouse and is fluent in Spanish.

Kate is our Spokane Valley Clinic Coordinator. She joined NeuroStim with a strong healthcare background as a receptionist, case manager, division lead, and office manager. Her many years of experience in behavioral health and personnel management include supervisory and management positions within MultiCare's Rockwood Clinic in Spokane.

Greta is a certified TMS Technician. She joined NeuroStim in the winter of 2023 with prior patient care experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and lab work as a health science researcher. She majored in Medical Anthropology and Global Health, and minored in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies from the
University of Washington.

Rocky is a certified TMS Technician. He joined NeuroStim in the winter of 2023 with over 10 years of prior healthcare experience working with vulnerable patient populations. As a former Lead Recovery Technician within a large addiction rehabilitation and mental health treatment center, Rocky is a stellar advocate for his TMS patients.

KJ serves as one of NeuroStim's Clinic Coordinators. Before joining NeuroStim he worked for MultiCare in Tacoma as an Insurance Authorization and Utilization Management Specialist. KJ has a Masters Degree in Health Informatics and Health Information Management, and a Bachelors in Healthcare Leadership, both from the University of Washington.
